The
Kaohsiung Main Station is located under
the old train station and has one exit
on Jianguo Road. Kaohsiung Train Station
used to be the city's main gateway and
the historic "Imperial Crown" style
building is not only a part of the
city's joint heritage but will also be
used for the future light rail system.
This station is a joint development of
the KMRT, Taiwan Rail and Light Rail
system so in the future it will not only
link Kaohsiung City's internal and
outside transportation routes but also
bring together people from the north and
the south.

near the station are the Jianguo Road

Wholesale Clothing and Electronic Parts
Street, the Bade Road Car Parts Street,
the Sanfong Jhong Street New Year

Street. The Kaohsiung Senior High School
and Sanfong Temple are not far away,
while food shops can be found scattered
through the nearby alleys and on Bade
