O7 - Cultural Center Station

　The Cultural Center Station is located at the intersection Jhongjheng 2nd Rd. and Heping 1st Rd. Its 4 exits open on Shangsin St., Wufu Junior High School, the President Department Store and the Nanhe Swimming Pool. The region encompasses the Bureau of Cultural Affairs, the Cultural Center, the National Kaohsiung Normal University and Wufu Junior High School, making it the cultural and academic heart of Kaohsiung City. Thanks to a series of recent urban restoration projects, new recreational attractions such as the Arts Boulevard, the Wufu Walk and Tower Park have appeared, adding an elegant casual touch to the city's ambience. There are a number of restaurants and cafes near the Cultural Center and the Rainbow Park next to the President Department Store. These make the Cultural Center Station one of the Kaohsiung's gourmet districts.
