 The Fongshan West Station has 2 exits and its located at the intersection of Fongshan Zihyou Rd. and Cingnian 1st Rd. Near the station are the Kaohsiung County Government, the Women, Children and Youth Center of Kaohsiung County, the Kaohsiung County Council, the Kaohsiung City Revenue Service Office, the courts as well as the Fongshan Senior High School, the Jhongsiao Junior High School and the Jhongshan Elementary School.
